Intel has acquired this monday to one of the most trusted identity manager called PasswordBox, a canadian based company specialized in identity management and offering users a convenient way to access their websites accounts and applications from any device without need to write or remember their passwords.
Intel said that the acquisition of the canadian company will be part of intel's business group for security and protection, which focuses to simplify and make the protection measures more powerful through the provision of new ideas to reduce the pain and trouble to remember dozens of passwords.
PasswordBox founded before 2 years and has achieved so far over 14 million downloads for it mobile application, which won the best application for mobile phones at CES.
Intel did not officialy disclose to the value of the deal, but all employees in passwordbox will move to work within the protection range of intel.
